To begin the day, I caulked all the seams in the head
compartment, between various panels and at the edges as
needed, the final step before paint work on the
remaining surfaces.

I continued work my my mocked up ladder, testing ideas
for some top rails, with the goal of determining basic
positioning, concepts, and essential measurements, not
necessarily emulating the desired final appearance.
But we liked the apparent function and basic design of
the ladder, a necessary feature for various practical
purposes.
Now the trick would be to find someone capable of
creating something to this basic concept but in a more
artful way, without limiting its function and strength. |
