Project Log:  Sunday, November 30, 2014

In a short work session, I cut and installed the baseboard trim to complete the cabin sole installation.  I began with a tape measure, and measured all the various pieces required.  Because of the configuration of existing trim (all the cabinetry corners already featured their  own trim pieces running down to the sole), there was no need for fancy cuts or miter joints--just simple straight cuts to fit the new trim in between as required.

With my cut list in hand, I prepared the various pieces of base trim all at once.

Installation was quick and easy with stainless steel brads.
