Project Log:  Sunday, May 29, 2011

After washing and lightly sanding the now-cured fiberglass on the fuel filler recess molds, I added additional material in all areas, this time stitched biaxial fabric.  I added two layers to each facet of the parts, overlapping onto the flange area and over the top edge.  Again, I let things run wild subject to future trimming when the part was complete.
