Project Log:  Friday, November 12, 2010

To round out the initial sanding steps on the main part of the deck, I completed the sanding on the coachroof and forward end of the pilothouse, again using the VARO sander equipped with 80 and 120 grit discs.

The next step for the main deck areas would be to fill the myriad fastener holes peppering all surfaces, and to complete any additional minor repairs required (such as patching larger holes).

Plenty of sanding remained, including the pilothouse roof and cockpit, plus the additional sanding steps for the entire deck, all of which would take place as soon as time allowed.
