Project Log:  Sunday, February 27, 2011

While hardly momentous, or even worthy of its own writeup, work done--however incremental the progress--is work done.

I took advantage of an open container of 4200 polyurethane sealant I was using on another project in the shop, and installed permanently the new bronze garboard drain, the opening for which I'd cut some time ago.

I applied plenty of the sealant to the drain's flange and edges, and additional sealant to the screw holes and keyway in the hull.
