Project Log:  Friday, November 16, 2012

Late in the afternoon, I carved out enough time to prepare several additional ceiling planks for the forward cabin.  Choosing an appropriate board measuring almost 8-1/2" x 96", after sanding both faces smooth I milled eight additional strips as before, which would be more than enough to complete the ceiling sections remaining.

After milling, I applied a sealing coat of tung oil so that the strips would be ready for installation.
